Phil Healy, a member of the University College Cork women’s 4×400 meter relay team is FAST.
As you’ll see in the video above, she started the final leg of the 4×400 meter in fifth place. She finished in first.
She had about a quarter of a lap to close the gap and the runner—hoping to get to the European track championships in July in Amsterdam—was able to out-kick every runner to take first at the very end.

According to The Washington Post, the 4×400 was the Irish runner’s third race of the day. They said, “Earlier in the meet she finished second in the 100 meter and won the 200 meter race, setting an Irish university record time.”
