HBO Releases Boston Marathon Bombing Documentary
It shows us the tragedy that's unfolded since April 13, 2013, but more importantly, it shows the strength of its survivors.

On November 21 at 8 p.m. EST, viewers all over the country will tune in to HBO’s documentary premiere of Marathon: Patriots Day Bombing. The film recounts the April 13, 2013 terrorist attack at the finish line on Boylston Street through the chilling, moving experiences of the individuals whose lives were forever impacted.
The film follows the tragic events from April 13 all the way until the verdict was delivered. It features surveillance footage, news clips, home movies and exclusive interviews with survivors and their families, as well as first responders, investigators, government officials and reporters from the Boston Globe, which won a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the bombing. Over the course of three years, a newlywed couple, a mother and daughter, two brothers—all gravely injured by the blast—deal with the challenges they were dealt on April 13. Watch the trailer here.
