White Sands Missile Range, N.M/ March 2013

The difficult marathon is dedicated to the heroic soldiers who defended the Philippine Islands during WWII. Gain new respect for those who serve our country by competing in the “heavy division,” which requires you to wear a 35-pound pack for 26.2 miles.


Tempe, Ariz./ April 2013

Corporal Patrick Tillman abandoned his career as a professional football player to serve in the United States Army. In 2004, his life was cut tragically short after he was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. Today, his legacy lives on the, a 4.2-mile race that attracts more than 35,000 runners each year. Veteran’s Marathon

Columbia City, Ind./November 2012

From the VFW band performance at the start to the American flags lining the course this autumn marathon is full of red, white and blue pride. Choose from the marathon, half marathon or 5k to honor courageous men and women who’ve served. The marathon course is located near Fort Wayne, and in 2012, all marathon racers will receive free fleeces in Air Force blue.

Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon

Fort Oglethorpe, Ga./ November 2012

Get in touch with our nation’s history at this iconic Civil War battlefield. After a 19th-century cannon starts the race will a boom, you’ll run through the peaceful park filled with memorials dedicated to fallen soldiers.
