Kimmy and D.J. of Fuller House have stellar advice for women who feel overwhelmed with work and family.
Candace Cameron-Bure (you know her as D.J. Tanner-Fuller) recommends making fitness a priority. “Anyone can find 30 minutes to train,” she states. “There are a lot of times I’m just working out at my hotel room. There are so many wonderful apps and DVDs. When you get into the groove of it, you realize how much better you feel.” The actress often wakes up before the sun rises to fit in a workout, or hits the gym straight after filming to make sure she stays on track during busy periods.
Andrea Barber (known for her role as Kimmy Gibbler) piggybacks off of Bure’s advice by understanding how runners can be too hard on themselves. “The best thing you can do is to be gentle on yourself, be forgiving. If you’re supposed to do an 8-mile training run and you can only do 2, that’s okay. Doing something is better than nothing. Keep moving is the greatest lesson.”
