THE SHOE

The Nike LunarGlide+ 3 offers superior stability and extra-soft cushioning in a sleek, durable package. This updated version of Nike’s popular trainer feels like a slipper but runs like a racehorse. Wrap-around arch support will keep your foot snug, Luralon foam offers a springy response and reflective detailing ensures you’ll stay safe in low-light conditions.

THE JUDGE

Olympic runner Kara Goucher will serve as the contest’s judge. An inspiration to women runners everywhere, Kara knows a thing or two about working hard to make dreams a reality. After winning bronze in the 10,000 meters at the IAFF World Championships, Kara ran her first marathon in 2:25:52, the fastest debut by an American woman in history. Most recently, Kara ran a personal record in the 2011 Boston Marathon—just six months after giving birth to her first child.
