De-Stress Destination Race Travel
When traveling for a race, there are so many uncontrollable factors: weather, fatigue, travel delay, difference in terrain, a new bed, time change—the list goes on! To offset this, try to bring as many of the comforts of home as you can. You’ll be surprised how your regular water bottle, your usual pajamas, your go-to socks, your favorite gum, familiar snacks, even a couple framed photos can help you feel comfortable and make your body feel like it is still in the normal routine. Anything to help your legs be tricked into thinking it’s business as usual!
