Yes, Amazon May Be Coming Out With A Line Of Workout Clothes

They are just one more brand wanting a piece of the booming athleisure pie.

Look out, Lululemon, Nike, Under Armour and basically every major sports brand—there’s a new line of workout apparel maybe coming: Amazon workout clothes.

The Internet mogul has been creating its own line of clothing on the DL in 2016, and rumor has it some sweat session gear is next. The brand has posted a handful of job postings, according to Recode, looking for people with experience and passion “for sports and athletics,” creating buzz within the industry that there may be one more big name on the block that sells reasonable gear.

If it happens, it would be the ninth in-house label from Amazon, People sit on both sides of the fence when it comes to just how much the website will give the powerhouse brands in the space a run for their money. Would the ease of online Prime ordering entice you to ditch the dressing room experience, or would you continue to support local stores and the brands they carry?
