Amazing Photos Of Run-Inspired Art Around LA

600 runners weaved through LA to visit 4 run-inspired art exhibitions.

In a buildup to the Olympic Trials + LA Marathon this past weekend, lululemon athletica Los Angeles teamed up with BlacklistLA and the Do Art Foundation to create a giant four-mile love note to runners and the city.

Four run-inspired art installations were connected by a unique running route in Downtown LA. On Monday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m., 600 runners came together to discover the magic of the City of Angels.

Meeting at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, runners began their journey through the streets of LA –
soaking in the glow of Los Angeles City Hall, Little Tokyo, the historic LA Times building, The Broad Museum, South Park and the sheer energy of the streets at night. Stopping at each art installation, runners were greeted by the artists who shared their inspiration for the installations and what it meant to them to see the community embrace public art (their art!).
