By consistently practicing this exercise, you will improve your body’s power, speed, overall endurance and flexibility. Do this as a warm-up exercise before your actual workout to reap its many rewards.

Channel Your Inner Scorpion

Lay on your stomach with your hands spread out to your sides and your head facing down. While keeping one leg straight, lift your other leg up and bend it at the knee. Keep that leg held high and bring it across your body, close to your hands. The other side of your body will naturally lift up. Return to the starting position and repeat. Aim for three sets of eight to 12 reps on each side.
