Tons of runners rocked the Big Easy this weekend. Late Mardi Gras, anyone?

On Sunday, more than 22,000 people raced around the Big Easy at the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K. Even more awesome—more than 60 percent of the participants were women. The marathon was won by 32-year-old Meggan Franks in a time of 2:51:51. In the half marathon, pro runner Neely Spence Gracey won in 1:14:20, using the race as part of her training for the Boston Marathon. Photos: Rod Mar
