Going for a run with my dog is made much simpler with this hands-free, belt leash. My 50-pound dog is active and loves to run, but he’s not well trained for running at my side. I’ve literally wrapped a leash around my waist before to counteract his occasional quick bursts toward a plant/cat/telephone pole and keep him from pulling me onto my face. This offers not only the convenience of keeping my hands free and putting the brunt of the pulling onto my hips, but it also has thoughtful details, such as the bungee to absorb the shock from sudden pulling, a sliding snap buckle so the whole belt isn’t rotating when he orbits me, and hold-knots and handles make it easier to pull him closer as we encounter other dogs along the way.
